Please join us each week to discuss ongoing projects, allied actions, our campaigns and other prison-industrial complex issues in and around the Valley – all are welcome!

1st Tuesdays - CURB Nite this is part of a monthly dialogue with a coalition of stakeholders and organizations throughout the state reviewing updates around prison/jail/immigrant detention expansion projects. We analyse legislative action related to these projects, such as AB900. This is the only time we meet at Metro Ministries 1055 N. Van Ness Suite D (bottom floor near midway) Join us, everybody is welcomed

A National dialogue addressing the Criminal Justice System. Coming to Fresno in 2010..in both spanish and english

In prison slang to "shoot a kite" is to send a message. Thousand Kites is a national project that works directly with stakeholders using communication strategies and campaigns to engage citizens and build grassroots power. It uses performance, web, video, and radio to open a public space for incarcerated people, corrections officials, the formerly incarcerated, grassroots activists, and ordinary citizens to dialogue and organize around United State’s criminal justice system

Fundraiser Committee meets 3rd Tuesday at C.A.F.E. 935 F Street, Fresno , CA ( Chinatown ) at 5:30pm
